The Assistant Concrete Superintendent will work closely with the Concrete Superintendent and construction managers to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain and update the 30-day concrete look-ahead production schedule.</li><li>Anticipate and address the needs of construction managers to maximize efficiency and productivity.</li><li>Assist the Concrete Superintendent with day-to-day management tasks.</li><li>Coordinate with construction managers for required city and local government inspections.</li><li>Field technical questions and troubleshooting issues.</li><li>Utilize Plangrid for daily reports and reviews.</li><li>Generate concrete and formwork takeoffs.</li><li>Obtain quotes from material vendors and subcontractors.</li><li>Attend bid opening and pre-bid meetings as needed.</li><li>Attend site meetings and visit project sites to monitor progress and quality.</li><li>Submit and coordinate concrete ready mix orders and material deliveries.</li><li>Support the project closeout process, ensuring all plans, details, and inspections are in order.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Preferably 5 years or more of concrete construction or related experience.</li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.</li><li>Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.</li><li>Commitment to living out the company's core values of Service, Quality, and Character (S.Q.C).</li><li>Displays humility and a good sense of humor.</li><li>Strong desire to be a part of and contribute to a supportive, close-working team environment.</li><li>Willingness to learn and undertake tasks as needed to support the team.</li><li>Comfortable working with various software systems and possesses basic computer skills.</li><li>Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.</li><li>Highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction.</li><li>Ability to contribute effectively to a team-centric culture.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.</li><li>Demonstrated potential for leadership and ability to mentor junior team members.</li></ul>Salary and Benefits:<ul><li>Full- Time</li><li>Competitive salary at $80,000 - $90,000 based on experience.</li><li>Health and Dental Insurance</li><li>Life and disability insurance</li><li>401k</li><li>Paid time off, vacation, sick days, and holidays.</li><li>Professional development opportunities.</li><li>Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance.</li></ul>Apply today to join a company where your skills and dedication will be valued and rewarded.
